The GOP has just voted to preserve subsidies for overfed Big Oil as underprivileged children die from preventable diseases. The GAVI fund could save the lives of 4.2 million children through vaccinations with a U.S. investment of $450 million. That's just a bit over $100 per life saved. How can oil barons be so selfish when children's lives are at stake?
